Express Entry – Permanent Residency
On January 1, 2015, Citizenship and Canada (CIC) rolled out the Express Entry program. This program promises to be more efficient by granting permanent residency within 6 months of applying and allowing eligible applicants to enter a profile and wait to be picked for an Invitation to Apply (ITA).
The three categories that fall under Express Entry are:
Canadian Experience Class
- You must have had one year work experience in Canada in a skilled job (NOC 0, A, or B)
- You must have passed an English exam (IELTS, CELPIP OR TEF) with a score of at least CLB 7 in NOC 0 or A, or at least CLB 5 in NOC B
Federal Skilled Trades Program
- You must have two years of work experience in the last five years in an approved trade by CIC
- Have either a Red Seal or Qualification Certificate in Canada, or a one year job offer from a Canadian employer with approved Labour Market Impact Assessment
- Passed the English or French exam score
Federal Skilled Workers Program
- You must have at least one year continuous work experience (no breaks) in NOC 0, A, B in the last ten years
- You must pass the English test with a score of at least 7 CLB
- Do a self-assessment to see if you meet 67 of the 100 points
Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP)
AINP is an economic immigration program operated by the Government of Alberta with the Government of Canada’s department of Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). AINP supports Alberta's economic growth by attracting and retaining work-ready immigrants to the province.
Individuals, together with their spouse/common-law partner and dependent children, nominated by the Government of Alberta can apply for permanent residence through CIC as a Provincial Nominee. CIC makes final decisions on all Provincial Nominee permanent resident applications.
Individuals can apply under the following streams:
- Compulsory and Optional Trades
- Engineering Occupations
- Post-Graduate Worker Category.
International Students
Students are our specialty! If you want to be an international student, Nally Immigration Services can support you throughout the process. We will advise you on your options so you can plan your path accordingly. If you are already an international student we can also assist you with renewing your study permit or applying for a co-op or post-graduation permit.
We offer discounted rates for students and complimentary permit renewal for current students intending to use our services for permanent residency.
Sponsorship
If you are 18 years of age or older and a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident, you may be eligible to sponsor relatives or your spouse overseas for permanent residency. We will assess your qualifications and determine how best to proceed with your sponsorship application, as every sponsor's situation is unique. We understand the importance of family re-unification and that you do not want to spend any more time away from your loved ones than is necessary.
Citizenship
Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) created the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) in June 2015. Nally Immigration Services is in good standing with ICCRC and can consult with you regarding the eligibility requirements and steps to citizenship. We can guide you along the process to ensure your success in becoming a Canadian citizen.
Temporary Permit Renewal/Visitor Visa
We offer assistance in work or study permit renewal as well as applications for Temporary Resident Visa (TRV).
Consultations
Consultations are required for Permanent Resident and Sponsorship applications. Consultations will require the client complete a questionnaire regarding their personal situation and previous history.
